Maarten Sikke born on April 4 1990 in Oradea, discovered his love for music at the age of 8.At the age of 16 he meets his friend Dj Adi Filip with whom he starts to collaborate and also influences him to electronic music. In the spring of 2008 he meets Dj Bob Fontana who upholds him to go in the world of electronic music. In the summer of 2008 he meets Dj Florin Hanga from Oradea who also upholds him.In December 2008 he begins his challenge, the first episode of Trance Update and he does not want to stop here.

Maarten works hard developing new, exclusive and innovative trance music, that has already earned his acclaim amongst her peers.He was inspired by celebrated musicians such as ATB, Paul Van Dyk, Markus Schulz, Sander Van Doorn, Marco V, Marcus Schossow and Estiva amongst others.

Maarten is also an avid Promoter. Combine such ambition with an ongoing desire to continue to produce outstanding, interesting and often uniquely brilliant trance music and only matched by a bright, enthusiastic, friendly and outgoing approach to all he meets, as well as a taste for entertaining the masses.

In Fall 2009, Maarten Sikke launches an album only with mash-up remixes with the name Mashup Of My Soul, also he produce many mashup remixes and very beautiful, like: Estiva vs. Aston Martinez - Seduction Privilege [2010], The Viceroy Feat. Steve Anderson - Closer Game [2009], DJ Spoke Vs. Chainside - I Would Die For Milion Miles [2009], and in the year 2010 was made a own production under the name "Maarten Sikke - Depressed Mood", and this production is part of the tech-house genre.
